Aww this e-session was so fun! Sometimes you just meet people and you totally hit it off, you fill like old friends! I had so much fun hanging out with Shane & Dana a few Saturdays ago! To be honest it did not feel like work at all, it was just like a Saturday with Friends!

I love how some of these images remind me of the classic 50′s! Dana and Shane picked out some super fun locations for their adorable e-session!

The details:

We went shopping at the yummy Gene’s Sausage Shop in Lincoln’s Square

Dana got her awesome du done up at Tigerlillie Salon

The Brown Elephant ()resale and thrift shop) was a rustic backdrop. If your looking for some awesome items to furnish your home- check out the Elephant, Dana and Shane got a cool wine rack!

My favorite place of all was Simon’s Bar, hands down best ever mulled wine (hehe of course it was my first mulled wine ever but oh boy it was yum!)

I am super excited for their wedding this coming July!

Stay warm peoples!

xoxo,

Brittany

Trista & Jeff of West Bend, WI

Dear Hanle,
Oh my goodness, my mom forwarded me your website! The photos are incredible!
All my life I always planned ahead. Once I got engaged I planned on finishing my
degree, and then starting to plan the most romantic fairy tale wedding I could
imagine.
I imagined the simplistic dress, the daisies lined all around me, and Jeff, my groom
waiting for me at the altar. Our friends and family are all laughing, smiling, and
joyous. I dreamed of the pictures I would have for a lifetime. I planned on saving up to
afford a wedding and a photographer who could make my dreams a reality.
Then, in October of 2008 we got the news Jeff was laid off from his carpentry job. I had
just finished my internship as a designer, and knew the industry for both of us was
rocky. Almost 6 months went by, and then I was laid off. Saving for the wedding was no
longer an option. My lifetime of mentally planning, and my year of physically planning
was a wash. Savings were spent on mortgages and necessities. The wedding fund was
dried up. The economy had crumbled my dream, and my heart. And there was nothing
for me to do, but to wait… and to save.
Several months have past, and we have our feet on the ground now, but we are so
behind on savings, that we are limited to what dreams can actually and realistically
become a reality. I would love to take the images in my head, and turn them into
something real. The chance that we could have Hanle be there to capture the moments
so I can remember living my dream for the rest of my life is incredible.
My fairy tale wedding has been downsized, and having this helping hand would mean
the world to the both of us. Our family will also appreciate the precious moments
captured on camera.
Thank you in advance for the opportunity. You have no idea how much it means. Please
consider us for your wedding….

Hannah & Adam of Chicago, IL

Hello, Brittany and Anthony!

My name is Hannah, and I would be so thrilled and thankful to have you photograph our wedding!

Adam and I got engaged earlier this year and started planning our big, fat Korean/Serbian wedding.  I like to call our mix of families “Korebian”–like Carribean with an “O.”  : )

This past year, I taught music at an elementary school.  Yes, I’m part of the “Teach-every-generation-ridiculously-cute-songs” Movement!  Sadly, the school is canceling the entire music program due to budget cuts.  I’m determined to find another job, but with the economy down, I’m facing a very tough crowd.  Our families will not be contributing, and since I sent all my paychecks to Mr. Student Loans (thanks, grad school!), my kindhearted, hardworking fiance will be paying for everything wedding-related.

Photography is so important to us.  Adam wants a modern, artsy style of photography.  I know that comes at a premium, and I wouldn’t be able to help pay for it.  I would love to surprise him with your free wedding package.  I’m smitten by your portfolio, and I know his jaw will drop when he sees our Hanle Productions wedding proofs.  I’d love to give him this package as a well-deserved gift/”thank you” for the sacrifices he’s making to save for our wedding and future home.  It’s a lot of pressure to be the sole financer, and your gift would definitely lighten his load…and bring us joy for years!

Thanks for your time.  I hope you have a blast with the couple you choose!

Sincerely,
hannah :)

Rachael & Dave

You could call them high school sweethearts, they have dated since the sophomore year! They are absolutely adorable together…a true love, that is patient and kind, and full of laughs (as Dave is a comedian!) Rachael will be laughing always! Newly weds- as you begin your new life together, remember life is short, always love with that same “first” passion, renew the fire that burns within each other, fall in love each day…with God and with each other…

It was a blessing to be a part of such a beautiful union of two wonderful people! Thanks guys- can’t say it enough- it was a real joy- and I am truly honored.

I carry your hear with me (I carry it in my heart)

I am never without it

(anywhere I go you go, my dear; and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling)

I fear

No fate (for you are my fate my sweet)

I want no world

(for you are my world, my true)

and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant

and whatever a sun will always sin is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows

(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud

and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)

and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart

I carry your heart (I carry it in my heart)

Dave- the Groom

aww the kiss!! we have lots of these ;-) naturally they like to kiss…hehe

yep these are out of order….

this is one of my favorites- is just love the passion- and tenderness of it…

they are very tender with each other…

we had some interesting weather- cool- crazy storm- down pour- raining with the sun shining- hot humid stickyness all of the sudden- than another threaten for a down pour- makes getting photos a little hard- a nice ice cream parlor old fashioned candy shop to the rescue! great idea Rachael! i love these photos- so adorable….can you tell Dave is a comedian!

oh man i love ice cream!

Rachael’s dress was amazing- with such detail! it was stunning! She was a beautiful bride! Brides just glow on the wedding day- all day long!

first dance as “Husband and Wife”

giddy after the ceremony! it can’t be helped!

Parents of the Bride- so cute!!

guess who one the dollar dance? haha Dave!

hmm wonder what Rach had to do? I hear they had a beat on…

Congrats you two love birds!!!
