After the Kohler Bridal Show Brittany and I attended Saturday and browsing through various wedding blogs, I had an urge to research wedding gowns. Oddly enough I was never the little girl who would spend my days dreaming about my wedding day, using white bed sheets for a veil or daydreaming about my boy band crush as my husband. However, after starting this internship my appreciation for weddings, decorating, style, etc…has significantly grown and I find the idea of my own wedding very exciting. One of the more exciting sides of a wedding, I think, is picking out your dress. After having my mind boggled by the hundreds of styles and fabrics, I was about to take a rest when I came across a designer by the name of Adele Wechsler. Many of you brides and brides-to-be may already know of her, but I just had to share a few of her designs with you. A line of hers, called ECO COUTURE, is so inspiring. All fabrics, hemp and silk are organic, she uses vegetable dyes and reconstructs dresses from scrap fabrics. Take a look at some wonderful dresses, maybe it will spark an idea for your own wedding dress!
