This weeks photographer is Joanna B, a 22 year old girl from the UK.  I first found her through Flickr and was impressed by her editing techniques.  A talent I have yet to acquire and think that anyone who has a gist of what they are doing is so talented!  What I am even more impressed with is how much her style and talent has grown and taken her so many places within the realm of photography.  Many of her photographs have been on covers of magazines and more are featured within.  She in constantly expanding her stylists and make up artists, getting a feel for what is right for her.  You can tell how much passion and drive she has for this medium, its very inspiring to see her progress and how her ambitions continue to grow.

Opps…I guess I missed last weeks inspiration post, my mind has been all over the place these days!  For this post I have decided to do showcase some of my favorites on Flickr.   This is where I spend most of my time gathering inspiration and following the trends of photography.  There are some amazing artists on this website.  I have had an account for a few years now, but wasn’t able to appreciate what it has done for my own photography until this past year or so.  Joining groups through Flickr and being able to post my own photographs has helped my work become more known and has even shown up in a few published magazines!  So here are some of my favorites on Flickr…I have a feeling this kind of post will be popping up a lot more!  Enjoy!

I happened to come across a new photographer this past week through a contact on my personal blog, Luis Sanchis.  I haven’t had much time to research this photographer, his bio in his website is very discrete, but the photos speak for themselves.  I am normally not attracted to digital photos that have been extremely photo-shopped or use high dynamic range – which makes a photo full of contrast and color and almost hyper real.  However the way Luis Sanchis treats his photos is very dream-like and other worldly, making them appear softer and more elegant.
