Our friends Matt & Amy got married yesterday. Hurray!!! This is a Sneaky Peaky from their beautiful vintage inspired wedding. Everything had a special touch, from the beautiful mason jars with ribbon, to the locket on Amy’s bouquet, to the blue hankie brought over from France by her great grandfather, each piece had a special significance or memory. The day was filled with so much love. The weather could not of been more perfect! Congrats you two! Many blessings to the happy couple. More photos soon to come!

We took a little tour of Milwaukee while shooting their engagement session. Wow Milwaukee you have so much left to discover still! Ok this post is starting to sound a little cheesy—-any who—-to the point. The point is that Stephanie & Matt are just adorable. I laughed so hard on our little adventure….and we had some serious problems with these little red balloons—-apparently balloons don’t float unless they are blown up with that special stuff called helium! woo hoo Brittany—well this does make sense but I guess I never really thought about it. So needless to say the balloons for my grand idea did not really float so we had to improvise—which was hilarious! Stephanie & Matt you are both awesome for being such great sports and putting up with my crazy ideas! Can’t wait for your wedding!

simplify…sometimes less is more. maybe you forgo the expensive flower cost and do small arrangements with vintage vases and one single flower…or create beautiful stiffened flowers out of fabric…be creative. no matter what budget, you can have a beautiful detailed wedding. it only requires a little bit of thinking and imagination. you need to decide what is most important and what can be simplified or done differently to save, so that you can splurge on something else…like beautiful umbrella’s for each guest. 
bring the comforts of home outdoors…
consider an intimate setting, a smaller crowd, make it more personalized. invite those you truly love and adore. A small crowd of family & friends is sometimes the best party and filled with the best memories. Having a small intimate wedding also allows you to splurge and pamper your guests…make your day an unforgettable one.
