awww Austin & Julianne…I just love my clients!!! Anthony and I met Austine and Julianne in January 2008 through Epikos Church…We all have fond memories of small group together and a night of “apples to apples”! I was super excited when Julianne emailed me telling me her plans for Austin’s birthday surprise and how I was to be a part of it….She surprised him with a morning at the salon and than a afternoon photo shoot with me! What a wonderful wife she is…Austin is a lucky guy. Happy Birthday Austin…you both look amazing and I hope you enjoy and treasure your images for years to come. I am so thrilled that you picked me to be a part of your birthday surprise! Yay. Side note…Julianne calls Austin Mr. Smith and it is so adorable!

We did some shooting in the studio as well as out and about in the 3rd Ward…which was a little crazy since it was Friday afternoon and we had been clueless to the American Idol concert and everyone was going crazy…

I really love these photos…they are romantic and intimate…Austin and Julianne have some very cool tattoos and it was very important to them that they have some shots…I believe the one on Austin’s back is their wedding date…aww how romantic! (and no they are not naked…gesh!)

As a photographer I really do have one of the best jobs in the world!!! I get to see little ones go from a “belly bump” to a “tiny tiny baby” to a “strong willed soon to be 2 year old”!! Met little Sammy! He is just adorable and full of so many cute 3 word sentences and lots of love. I got to hang out with this cute little bundle of joy last weekend and his lovely parents who are expecting another little one again!! (the word is out as of this Sunday). Congrats Jess and Dan on your 2nd child!! Sammy is really going to enjoy a little brother or sister to play with!

This is the 2nd of 3 installments of “Giving is Awesome“. Jess and Dan nominated the Knie family for the “Giving is Awesome” contest. As the nominator of the Winner they also receive a “Giving is Awesome” session. Here are a few shots from our session last weekend. We had some harsh sunlight with little shade and some yummy mud to play in, but we managed all the same…

Again it is always an honor and a joy to capture such amazing people and such a loving family…I am secretly hoping that the next one is a Girl!!! Congrats again!

Last Friday I got the privilege to photography these cute little buttons! This is actually a part of my “Giving is Awesome” Session Give-away that we participated in last December! It really is a great program and I am so happy that I was able to be a part of it. We will be participating in this years “Giving is Awesome” as well. So folks start brainstorming and thinking of WHO you will nominate! This year is a rough year for a lot of people. What family/couple is on your hearts, in your prayers, what deserving family is in need of some beautiful images! I will start receiving nominations November 1st….so you have time to prepare your story for submission. You will soon be seeing more photos of these cuties very soon. We are doing a family session in just a few short weeks!

I just love these images…we shot these in the new studio!! Yay. Someday soon I will have images of the studio…but for now you will have to wait. We are still working on getting everything together and it is going to take time. These images are so magical. I love it when Mom’s bring cute little outfits and fun accessories for the little kiddies to wear! Thanks Sarah! I had a blast hanging out with you and your adorable children and I am excited to do your family session very soon!
